Our Summer 2007 Vacation, Part 2: Istanbul
The second stop on our vacation was Istanbul. This was John’s second time in Istanbul, but Abraham’s first. We spent about a week in Istanbul, a few of those days with our friend Manish. There was so much to see (and still to be seen) in Istanbul, that we have three albums for the city.

Our Summer 2007 Vacation, Part 1: Bosnia
Before leaving for our new life in Charlotte, North Carolina, we decided to take a few weeks to visit some places that we haven’t seen (or haven’t visited in a long time). The first stop on our trip was Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We spent about a week in Bosnia with our friends Steffen and Anna.

This was the first time for the both of us in Bosnia. We our fellow travelers asked why we were going to Bosnia, they were surprised when we told them for tourism. For now, Bosnia is not considered a tourist destination.
